Wishing Star is a fast-paced, lighthearted tabletop RPG of fantasy mayhem. Inspired by the vibrant and sometimes-dark tones of The Legend of Zelda, Adventure Time, and Mario & Luigi RPGs, this game invites you to a world where the stars themselves fall from the sky, ready to grant the deepest desires of those brave enough to find them.

But beware: a star left uncollected doesn't stay lonely for long. It becomes a Wish Fiend—a magical monster with an insatiable hunger for celestial power.

In Wishing Star, primarily gain power by finding and using magical wishing stars.

• Four Tiers of Power: From common Shimmering Stars to world-altering Stars of Destiny, the scale of your wish depends on the rarity of your prize.

Wishing Star's Unique Features

• The Retinue System: Unlike most tabletop roleplaying games where you play one hero, in Wishing Star, each player controls a Retinue of four characters: one Main Hero and three Supporting Characters.
• High Stakes Gameplay: Character death is always close at hand. While your Supporting Characters are fragile, your Main Hero can choose a Dramatic Sacrifice to ensure the party succeeds even as they fall.
• Fast-Paced D6 Mechanics: The game uses a streamlined system based on EZD6 focused on Boons, Banes, and Gumption. Spend Gumption to overcome bad luck, or use Boons from your training to roll extra dice.
• Mortal Peril: Combat and high-stakes hazards are handled through a "Mortal Peril" system that uses an Escalation Die which keeps the tension rising every round.
